During this time I was on my way to Leavenworth for some fun with the family. I took this picture for my winter theme. I took a lot of pictures this day but only got a few pictures that really did come out well. I used an ISO of 1600 and the quickest shutter I could use while in the car. This picture I thought turned out pretty well with really good contrast in color and with the stillness of the picture. Of course barns are sometimes out dated in pictures but the color really does show well.

This is such a pretty picture. The steep slope of the barn really brings your attention up to the sky and the hill in the background. the contrast between the snow and the wood barn is great. it makes you want to go outside and take a deep breath of cold snowy air. I love the different tones of blue in the sky at the top of the picture. it goes well with the white snow at the bottom. the texture of the snow is beautiful. it looks like a lot of people or animals have really packed it down.
