Good Day Sunshine

I took this picture while on a choir retreat in Idaho. We were given some free time, so my friend Ashley went with me to take pictures. I had taken several pictures of the trees and the lake, and I started to get bored with all the same pictures. So I asked Ashley if she’d start throwing leaves around. I got a really nice silhouette of her, but it wasn’t dark enough for my liking, so I just played around with the contrast on photoshop.

Flowers in the Park

I was on a walk one day with my mom in the park and we stopped and took some pictures, I liked this one the best. I choose this picture because I thought I did a really good job with this photo. I think it uses the rule of thirds well. All I did in photo shop was adjust the color some to make the picture brighter.

I really like this picture I took it while I was doing my close up assignment for class. I was at my friend’s house in her driveway. I edited the lighting in this picture to make it brighter I think it draws you in more!

Patriotic Pumpkin Man in Space with a Moustache

My mom was bugging me to go to the pumpkin patch with my family. So I decided to go before I had to go to work. While taking pictures at Spooner’s Pumpkin patch I noticed this and decided to take the picture. But as I was taking the picture a flag in the background cast a shadow onto the wagon. I decided to keep the picture because to me it looks good on the wagon.

Yellow Sunshine

I took this picture for my Fall Theme assignment while I was on a walk with my little sister. I was driving home earlier that day and noticed how colorful all of the leaves were on that sunny day. I really wanted to get some pictures of the color in the leaves but I also wanted to incorporate something other than just the leaves, thus the trunks of the three trees. I really like the sun shining on the leaves and again, I love the color. I’m really happy with this picture.

On the Ground

I took this photo when I was at home. There is a house across the street that no one lives in so I went in the backyard. They have a underground pool that was empty so I went in the pool and took a picture at ground level. I think it could be a little better though.

Mushrooms

I took this picture while walking around the sunrise neighborhood. I like it because it’s bright out, and the sky is a bright blue color. The mushrooms were really big, and were white with a brown tip-which I thought was pretty cool.
