Best of Show - Autumn

Photo II students voted on the best set of photos for the Autumn assignment. While the votes were close, Jill D.'s photos were chosen as the best for the second straight assignment.

i like the yellow leaf photo. there is really good focus and sharpness on the leaf. i like the blurry background. the lines in the leaf lead my eye throughout the photo.

I like the one with the wheat plants? i think thats what it is. I think the focus is really good and the composition looks right. The plant draws you around it because it goes in sort of a upside down u shape. good job!

All your pictures are very well taken however the top right picture, to me, is extraordinary. The softness in the background plays a great role in the focus of the plant. It almost looks like the wind is blowing by the extension of the smaller elements in the plant. great photos!!
