I was taking pictures for my close up assignment and this one really caught my eye. I love how the pink and black go together and how in focus it is.

The Flames

I took this picture during a power outage that we had a few weeks ago. My houses power was out for a while, so I got bored and started taking pictures of the candles around the house. I like this photo because it captures the first flame right in front of you, and then you see the other flame focused in the back of the photo. I also like how everything around the flames was dark; it makes the little part of the candle and the flame just pop out in this picture.

I like this photograph because you can see the dust on it. Also, I find close up pictures more interesting.

I took this picture while I was wandering around outside one day and I thought I would get a different angle and shoot from the ground up, it actually turned out pretty well. I actually took a couple more shots like this but I chose this one because it catches the eye a little more!

Anthophobia

I took this photo of a sunflower I saw at the pumpkin patch. We were working on close ups at the time so I wanted to get in as close as possible but the plant was much taller than me so I could only get part of it. Despite my trouble, the picture turned out very nice.
