This picture was taken in the RAW setting on my camera. It was the first time I used the setting and I really liked how all my pictures turned out. The extra editing tool that opens in Photoshop when I work with these pictures is awesome. It allows me to do more with my pictures. I turned the clarity, saturation, exposure and blacks up in the picture. Shooting in raw is great but it takes a lot of work uploading, editing and saving.

Army of Darkness

I really liked this picture when I took it for my 5 minutes and 12 second walk assignment. I took this photo in RAW and darkened it up a little bit to give it this cool look to it. I like the light that gave off also because it was cloudy when I took this. I hope you like it as much as me.

I took this photo during a quick assignment during class and I really like how it goes from grass to dirt to forest and than Mt. Rainier in the background. There really wasn’t much effort in taking this photo it just kind of happened when I was messing around with the camera.

I really like this photo I took it for a assignment. My teacher had use walk for 5 minutes and 12 seconds then take picture where we were. When I was walking I had my partner Brian I really liked the way the light hit him when he took pictures. So when he wasn’t looking a snapped a shot of him and this is how it turned out.

HDR Sjambok

It was my first ever attempt at HDR photography. I was happy with how it turned out, I did adorable this picture so much though. It was interesting learning the process of HDR and I had many versions of this, and I feel this came out pretty good though. Desu desu desu.

Childhood Memories

Our January theme assignment was ‘grab bag’, where we choose an object in a bag and photograph it. I got my favorite childhood toy. It was a challenge trying to find different angles to shot, or how to position the slinky, but I managed some ideas.

I took this picture when my family and I went to Disneyland in February. I like the overall innocence of the photo, and I added the black & white to accentuate that. I think my little brother Blake is so adorable, especially when he gets mad at me for taking candid pictures of him :D

I took this picture when I was in Seattle for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. I kept taking pictures of him for our upcoming famous photographer assignment, and I really liked this one. It looks a lot like the black and white portraits that the photographer I chose takes. I edited the picture in Photoshop by making it black and white and then playing around with the contrast.
