I took this picture when I was in Seattle for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend. I kept taking pictures of him for our upcoming famous photographer assignment, and I really liked this one. It looks a lot like the black and white portraits that the photographer I chose takes. I edited the picture in Photoshop by making it black and white and then playing around with the contrast.

There seems to be a perfect contrast between the simple plainness of the boy and the background.
Rule of thirds
Although the boy in the front is the main focus, the rest of the photo in the background is well focused also, providing a wide range of visual aspects.
I feel a tired mood when I see this photo.
