Light you up!

This picture was taken for our winter assignment a few months ago. I love it because it gets up close and personal with the light bulbs that were on this house.

I Walk Beside You

This was a really fun assignment. It was just to take pictures involving shoes, and I thought it would be more interesting to write a song about shoes or walking onto the shoe. The song written on it is I Walk Beside You by the band Dream Theater. Now the picture was difficult, as I took it at night in my very dark room. Lacking an actual light I took the light off the bottom of my lava lamp and I used that with a longer shutter speed. The most difficult part was angling the light… I had to have my brother come in and help.

White Ruffles

Description: I took this picture for our shoes assignment. This is the best picture I took. The lighting was really hard to get right. I manage to get the lighting okay by getting a garage light. Also focusing the camera was difficult. I think this picture turned out okay.

Adidas

Description: This was one of my final prints for our Shoes assignment. I adjusted the colors and contrast, along with levels and also played with the blur tool around the edges in an attempt to make the blue label and laces stand out more. While this was a difficult assignment for me, I have had fun completing it.

Speeding

I took this picture about a month or so ago in my brothers Honda. I thought it would be a cool picture with the gage in focus. The picture turned out kind of blue but I think it looks good. I like how nothing is really in focus but the main gage and it gives the picture a little more character.
