Edges

I really like this picture I took it while I was doing my close up assignment for class. I was at my friend’s house in her driveway. I edited the lighting in this picture to make it brighter I think it draws you in more!

I really like this picture. I agree that editing the lighting made it brighter because it does draw me into the green color of the grass. I also like the way you cropped it because there's not too much concrete or drain consuming the picture. If I would change something it would be to maybe choose one part of the grass to focus on and slightly blur the rest of the picture so there's more purpose and focus in it. Overall, great job!

This picture way better than the credit it is getting. I find the composition of the piece to be its greatest strength. The way you have a geometric figure against an organic object is a representation of your good art knowledge. Also, the way the drain has circles in it is good against the line of the grass. The color is good too. The brightness on the concrete was a good call. Great job. -RC, SPHS
