I need help with a title

I took this photo when we went to Laurel Gardens for a field trip. I liked this photo because it was kind of different. I thought the lighting for this picture was good too. This blog posting was hard for me to choose what picture because I had so many good pictures.

This picture is boring. The subject is not anything special or unique and it is just kind of dull. I don't understand why you would put this on here, because anyone could go take a picture of the corner of a room. This photo does not really have any artistic value. It looks like it would be on a flyer for someone selling their house. Maybe if you did some kind of levels adjustment of changed it to black and white it would look like you put more thought into making it look nice.

This picture is incredibly uninteresting. It could have so much character with just a few changes. The lighting may seem fine but it's not creative at all. Use the lamp's light, make it feel warm and welcoming or take away the plants, tilt the picture on the wall, make it feel cold and abandoned. Do something, anything to give the photo more depth. In it's current state it's simply a corner of a house.
Practice making plain things seem interesting, rearrange, re-light, retake.

Well.....I don't want to be to harsh, but this shot really is not that great. I have to agree with the other comments and say that this is very uninteresting and boring. The lighting from outside looks alright, but it would have looked so much better if the light was turned on. It seems like you didn't put much thought into this when you took it. I think it would have been better if you captured this from a different angle, like closer to the ground looking up, to give it some more character. And I would not consider this a "good picture" out of all of the other "good" pictures. SPHS
