Splash photos are officially my favorite assignment so far. For this photo, I wanted a unique blend of colors, so I used milk against a very colorful towel (the background). I also wanted a larger splash, so I dropped a golf ball into the martini glass, with one hand on the golf ball, one hand on the camera button. I got a few like this one that turned out great...until I proceeded to break the martini glass later…no more golf balls in glass…

I think this photo is very nicely done. The background is a nice contrast with the subject, both in color and in mood. The splash that was captured couldn't have been more perfect. Well done!
This is a very cool picture. I like how it was caught at the perfect moment, and the rule of thirds is applied nicely in this picture. The background does seem a little distracting, but overall, great job.

I like this picture mainly because of the background. The milk, if thats what it is, looks a little spoiled and nasty but the splash tops it of making it a very nice picture.

This is a pretty cool picture. I think I'd have a lot of fun with an assignment like this.
I enjoy the soft colors in this photo, they go together nicely.
