I took this picture for my Splash assignment, and I have to say I had a really hard time. It was tough to get good lighting with such a fast shutter speed. This was one of my better ones, one of the only ones of that was in focus. I thought the colors of the liquid looked good with the black background.

This photo is intense; its orange color is almost a red that makes me feel this intense feeling of fire. The flying orange blob in the air is definitely a plus, I just wish there was more in the air...

I love the contrast of the neon orange liquid against the black background. At first the title confused me, but it then I looked closer at the image and saw the little eskimo and then everything made sense. The confusing title is a good thing because it draws people's attention to the image.

This is a really neat photo! the orange color is really intense and bright and the one blob in the air looks very cool. The black background is a really nice touch and makes the orange come out even more. I think you accomplished your splash assignment very well. Great Job!

I love how you caught the water droplet floating in the air like that. You said you had trouble with your shutter speed, but this shot is amazing.
Your focus is pretty sharp
Also, I love how this photo makes me think of Gumby’s swimming pool. Its just so fun.
The splash looks great. I like how bright the orange is on the black background. it looks very good. even though i am not to sure on what this is, it really looks good. this is also my favorite color. LH SPHS
I really do not like this picture and I do not see the perspective or the point of it. I think the orange with the blake behind it looks good.

This is an awesome picture. I love the bright orange color of the liquid, and the drop looks very cool suspended in mid-air. You caught this at the perfect time, and you did a great job.

iI love this picture. The focus on the figure in the middle of the orange stuff is amazing. And to be honest it really does look like an eskimo. I also love the color of this picture it really has a warm feeling to it.

I really love the moment you were able to capture here, with the liquid rippling and splashing up. I don’t see a lot of pictures like this.
The tonal range here is great, since you used an opaque colored liquid to really offset the black, and it wouldn’t have been the same if you used something clear like water.
The shallow depth of field is wonderful, too, with the liquid splashing up really in focus which must have been difficult with such a shallow DOF.
This photo reflects a very active, lively mood very well with the motion of vivid colors.
