Kick it to the Curb

This is a photo taken originally for autumn themed assignment. I went out and walked around for about an hour and came up with some pretty cool pictures. I think the curb side view is unique in a number of ways. You see leaves in the gutter everyday, but rarely do you see from down low. I brought up the situation a bit to make the colors a little more vivid. Enjoy!

I really like this photo. I like that its focused in one little area, it makes you wonder. I also like how you can see the road turn the corner in the background. And i like how you got down on the ground just to get a good shot.

This is a good photo, strange though. I can’t really tell what the focus is on, maybe the two leafs? I like how the photo is taken low to the street and everything else beyond the leaves are blurred.

This picture really causes me to feel a lot of emotion. I love the leaves being in focus directly against the curb, it tugs loneliness out of me. The colors are also really vivid. You caught them in perfect condition at a perfect time in the season. Good Job.

I like the angle that this picture is taken at. I love that the leaves standout against the dull street and that they are the main focus of the photo. I wish the leaves were a little bit sharper, but other than that great job!!

I really like the depth of field in this photo. The bright colors of he leaves work well with the dim color of the cement. Good job(:

I love the focal point of this picture. The colors of the leaves and the texture of the concrete make this a great picture! -MM SPHS

I like that this photo is focused in the front, and slowly blurs towards the background, creating a good depth of field.

The lighting is also great as it creates good shadows for the colorful leaves, against the colors of the curb.

I like that it creates a mood of fall.
