I took this picture in my back yard for my close up assignment. Normally when you see a basketball hoop you see the back board and that’s about it, but I wanted a different perspective. I wanted to show the sky in the background to show more than just the basketball hoop. This shot only took me two times before I liked what the camera took. The hoop and chains were kind of dirty but I thought that added to the picture. I didn’t add any more lighting or fixtures to the picture. Everything all kind of played out.

I love the lighting in this; the blue signifies freedom to me. I love the close up; it looks like chains to me. Freedom with rules is what I think.
