I took this picture about a year ago of one of the flowers I had in my front yard. I really liked the pollen that was on the pedals. I got as close as I could & zoomed in, I like how well the details of the flower stands out. I did a little editing but nothing more than brightening.

I really like the close zoom on this photo, it allows the viewer to see details of a flower they usually wouldn’t.

I think the picture could stand to be a little lighter, because it’s a bit dark for the subject manner.
I think this photo reflects a very natural, calming mood, like nature.
I love this photo :) I know its a flower, but the overall effect makes me think of vanilla; calming but sweet.
I'm happy you didn't overbrighten it because the shadows seem to give a little more depth. Good job :)
