I took this picture on December 5th, before I had to cheer at a basketball game. I have never, in my 8 years of living in Washington, seen the clouds form like this over Mount Rainier. It was crazy! I didn’t have a tripod with me in the car and I didn’t want to miss the shot, so I didn’t use one. I set the aperture ranging from 3.5-6.3, with shutter seeds from 150-500, and the ISO at 400. For this particular shot, my settings were the f-stop at 6.3 and the shutter speed at 320. I made a few minor adjustments, but not too many. Overall, I’m very happy with this photo (:

This photo is awesome! I really like the way you framed the mountain with the trees in the foreground. The contrast between the colors of the trees and the sky and mountain also enhances the photo. This photo also has great depth of field- the mountain, clouds, and trees are in sharp focus. This shot has a defined wintry mood. Very impressive photo! Good job!

This picture is beautiful! It's very clear that your main focus is of the clouds. I like the fact that you didn't crop out the trees, I think it would have taken away from the photograph and made it a bit asymmetrical. Overall I think this picture is gorgeous it makes me want to visit Washington myself!

This is a very neat picture. I absolutely love the way the clouds are perfectly shaped above the mountain. It honestly looks more like a painting than a picture to me. My only suggestion would be that you try and align objects in the picture up as best as possible to create more symmetry. Maybe cropping out more of the trees to the left of the mountain would do the trick. Overall, great shot!
This picture is outstanding. I love how the trees frame the mountain. The trees could have been a little brighter. But overall you did a great job on this photo.
