Emerald City

Photo By: Justin Frisk, 6th period
I took this panoramic over the weekend. Me and my dad went up to Seattle to shoot some photos, and decided that Seattle would make a good panoramic. I took too many pictures just in case one had bad lighting or something. I worked with what I had it wasn’t the nicest weather but it still made a good picture.

This panaramic is great, just looks like a postcard or something, nice representation of seattle.

very good location for you photo justin. this picture is an instant classic city portrait. the only thing i would have suggested is getting in a little closer or cropping some blank background.

This is a really good panoramic. I like how the boat is tootin’ along. And all of the colors are well put together. :D

Justin, this is a sick panoramic. It really shows the entirety of Seattle nicely, highlighting the outrageously tall Bank of America Tower on the right and Space Needle on the left. The tugboat steaming across the water in the middle of the photo really adds to the mystique and I really like the pinks and blues that show up in the skyline. You da man!

Great job with this shot, I had such a hard time with panoramics so I'm pretty jealous of this one. I love the reflection of the city in the water and the compostion is very good. I also like the tug boat, it's pretty spiffy.

I really like this picture. Its something that I would hang in my house or something. You did a great job blending the colors. Too bad the weather wasnt working with you, the mountains in the background would be amazing if they stood out more. Not that you could do anything about that. Great job!

This is a great panoramic. I like it a lot. The only thing that really looks somewhat wrong about it is that the lighting on the left is a little darker than the lighting on the right, but it’s really not even that noticeable. Nice job!

this is a cool picture. nice and wide, good panoramic. nice focus all the way through. the left side is a bit darker than the right side, dont no if that was just how the lighting was at the time, or if you missed the automatic->manual switch. i like the boat on the bottom, that must have been hard to capture because it was in motion. good job.

This is a great shot of seattle, and its even better that’s it not raining for once

You have some serious talent. You're amazing with landscape shots. I love this panoramic because it's almost perfect. I love how you captured with wakes behind the boat. Great Job!!!

This is a really good panoramic. The coloring is really good and I like how you got the boat in the photo. I also went to Seattle to do my panoramic. Nice job!

The seams are invisible. Very good technical work on this one. I also like the composition, panning all the way from the space needle to the black building on the right keeps the subject interesting. Some panoramas go too far and it's hard to tell what is important.

Great panoramic! I like how the water shows the reflection of all the building. Very Cool

Great location for the photo. I've been there myself although I live way down here in birmingham. Those kind of images are the hardest to put together and I give you props for that. The only downfall in the photo is the tree in the right, it is a litte distracting. I would also like to have seen that photo right before sundown. Otherwise great job.

Very good panorama. It looks like you got a lot of the city in the shot. The lighting could look a little better, but I suppose you don't have much control over the weather and the sun. Great job.

I love your picture. You got the whole Seattle in just one picture. I like how you got the right side darker than left side. It gives some nice affect on it. Good job!
