Reflection Lake

Photo by Justin Frisk, 6th Period
This photo was taken at a lake called Reflection Lake. On a very clear morning when the water and sky stays still, the lake can reflect the mountain perfectly

Sooooooo ... I don't get why they call it reflection lake.

Just kidding. Beautiful shot. Nice contrast of colors.

this makes me want to get up early and get to the mountain before a breeze lays a ripple or two on the surface of the water...beautiful...well done

Nice Picture, I like the reflection it casts on the lake. All the different colors in the picture really help to make the mountain pop!. Keep taking good pics

Great shot of a beautiful place. I have been in your neck of the woods...on an extended camping trip. It is one of the most beautiful places I have been. I especially loved the Olympic NP coast. My wife and I camped there for a couple of weeks. Justin your photograph reminded me of my trip to Mt. Rainier, so thanks for sharing it. On a composition note...I would suggest that you place the horizon line higher or lower. Lower if you have a great sky, clouds etc. Higher if you have a nice foreground like you do in this shot. Just a thought. Keep up the great posts. You guys are inspiring my students to do their best work and that is what it is all about.

Good composition and balance Justin. I like the way you placed the grass floating in the water between the reflection of the far shore and the reflection of the mountain, and the way you have the grass in the lower left corner and the leaves in the lower right corner.

This is AWSOME the mountain almost looks better in the reflection then it does just looking right at it I cant decide if the ripples of water make it a better photo or if it would be better without them id have to c a pic without them to decide. FORTE

This picture is very peaceful. The reflection of the snowy mountains on the lake is perfect. The trees are very pretty; they look almost like needles. The color is beautiful. Great job!
