I took this picture on our snow day… I like it because it shows how much snow fell, and how that makes the branches stick out so much. I think the picture is a little dark and hazy but over all I like it.

Treads On The Street

I took this picture while up in Seattle walking around. I liked the texture that all the posters made on the wall, & since the wall went up a hill, it gave it a really cool tilt. I edited a few things using photoshop, but basically kept the picture the same.

Life's A Secret Window

I went down to Ruston Way to snap a few shots and experiment with the different landscapes. There were so many different neat photos I took and I fell in love with this one. I added a few touches in Photoshop to make the water more blue and the overall photo more vibrant. This experience has shown me how much I’ve grown as a photographer and I how much I truly enjoy photography.

Innocent Heather May

This is my good friend Heather. I was taking some photographs of her for one of our class assignments on portraits. This was one of the ones I really liked because it had a wonderful lighting effect that I was going for and plus this shows how innocent she really is. To edit this, I used the curves tool and also messed with the levels. I guess the only thing, which I should’ve fixed before taking the photograph is she should’ve sat up more straight.

I took this picture during Christmas break when my family was over. I really like this picture because it always makes me laugh. This little dog is not afraid of anything. He looks like he is in position to attack on his prey.

Snow Day

I like this picture because I love the snow; I took it on our snow day when I was on a walk with my mom. I took it as just a snap shot, and I think it could definitely be better but I think its cool how the sky looks like its going to start snowing again, and the top of the trees still have the fresh snow on them.

Pumpkin Patch

I took this picture when I went to the pumpkin patch last fall. For some reason I really like this picture, it caught my eye. Even though the colors are light and kind of blah I think they look good together

Clinique

I took this photo when I was doing my studio shots. I edited a little bit with Photoshop, I changed the contrast and coloring to make the different objects to stand out. Out of all the photographs that I took I liked this one the most. I like it because I like how the way I displayed the different objects showed really well.

A World Inside the Glass

I took this photo for our glass theme. I used a blown glass sphere in a completely dark room and shined an LED light on it from the side. I like how luminous it looks and how the light brings out the color against the darkness.
