I went down to Ruston Way to snap a few shots and experiment with the different landscapes. There were so many different neat photos I took and I fell in love with this one. I added a few touches in Photoshop to make the water more blue and the overall photo more vibrant. This experience has shown me how much I’ve grown as a photographer and I how much I truly enjoy photography.

I really like the perspective of this photo. I like how the hole in the wall is so interesting and then it leads to another interesting part. I love the water how it is so blue, but I don't really like how the left and bottom part of the hole is. It is distracting how it is so black and how the edges are so straight and take away from the unique shape of the hole. Overall I think this is great shot!

This is a good picture. I like how your subject is clearly in focus. Your exposure is decent, but the sky is slightly to bright. This takes away from the effect of the editing you did on the water, especially behind the destroyed dock. Other than the minor things that need to be edited, this is a very good shot.
This is a very nice shot! I do like the fact you made the water more blue. But maybe you should of zoomed in some more to take off some of the wall or cropped some of it off. But on the whole and very nice shot. Good work and keep it up!

I like the way the ocean has the broken bridge through the hole in the wall. The way its kinda tilted with the broken bridge is awesome. Great job with the water making the water blue and making it stand out more than the rest of the photo.

Comment: This photo really popped out at me. First, your colors are amazing, and you have such an interesting composition. The slanted window really makes this photo abstract, and creates an interesting view. Good job on using a depth of field and keeping the foreground and background in clear focus. You did a great job with the water coloring; it is very vibrant. I love how you were able to capture the pier's reflection in the water and there were no waves to distract the viewer. The colors all balance really well and complement each other. I love how you did not mix cool and warm colors-this is just a straight cool color photo. Great job!!

This picture turned out really good. The color and the angle turned out amazing. This is a picture I would hang on my wall…
I really like this photo. The water looks so amazing. I think I just fall in love with your picture too. Great job!
I really like the angle shot and the color of the water. The wall is very interesting too, but the dark edges threw me off at first. The water is beautiful, but the darkness of the wall is very distracting. Shane-SPHS
This is a pretty nifty photo. The first thing i notice is the color scheme - which i think is really great. The composition isn't the best in my opinion. I wish the window was not directly in the center. But the way the foreground, mid, and background work together is really good. It gives the viewer a really good feel for space and the environment. Looks nice!

I think this is amazing. The opening in the brick makes the water look like it is in another world. Its so cool!! You did everything perfect, i wouldnt change a thing.
This is a really great shot. The depth of field is nice and the crispness of the foreground and background compliments the subject. I like the angle of the shot as well as the reflection of the posts on the water. The colors are very vibrant and add a lot. The only thing i would change would to add some detail into the completely black parts on the window. Great job!

Pretty good shot from the small view on the blog but after I opened it i noticed some things i would have changed. Since the 'window' is your subject and to me seems more important just because it's the median through which anyone will be looking through, I would put it in focus. After a closer look the water and broken dock don't look that great blown up so i would have focused the camera on the wall and not the water. Good thinking though. taylor
It looks like a portal into another world, where mermaids are real.
Framing. Interesting angle. I think the slight crookedness adds to the enchanted feeling.
I like the lighting, the exposure, the focus, and depth of field. It all looks really good.
The mood is enchanting. Dreamlike.
