Bloom

I took this picture in my front yard for a close up assignment that I did. I really like how close I got; you can actually see the pollen. :]

This is a good image. The vibrant colors of the flower is a good addition to the piece. Also, the purple contrasts somewhat with the mostly uniform green background. I also like the fairly big aperture that somewhat blurs background details and allows the viewer to focus on the flower itself. The detail in the flower also looks good. I also like how you used the rule of thirds in your piece. The flower is not in the center of the image and this adds a more dynamic look to the piece. Great shot.

I love how the flower is the only thing in focus. The blurred background makes the the flower stand out all the more. The color works really well too and its position on the screen compared to the other things is really nice.

I really like this. I love the bright vibrant purple/pink. It really stands out. I think you could have gotten a little closer, but its still good. i like how the depth of field is in the background, it brings all the attention to the flower. I also liked how you used the rule of thirds.

This is a really good photo. You can tell that it was saturated in Photoshop; you shouldn’t have saturated it so much because now it seems unreal. The idea behind the photo was really good. I think you should have cropped the photo a little bit to get rid of the clutter in the background. Cropping it would have made it seem like a simpler photo.

This picture is awesome! It's great how the flower is in sharp contrast and the background is blurred. It has amazing detail. I also like the vibrant colors and the fact that they are complimentary. The positioning of the flower in the shot is really nice too! The only thing I don't really like is the car. It kind of distracts, but great work!

Great job on this picture. The coloring of the flower is perfect and so is the focus. However the empty space to the left is a little distracting.
