Berries

I took this picture while I was at Bradley Lake with my friend. I like this picture because the berries, and the leaves are in focus, but the bushes in the background are blurry. I also like how pretty much everything in the picture is green, accept for the berries.

The first snow day we had I went outside and just started taking random photos of different thing and I really like this one so I went to photo shop and I turned it to black and white and I thought it made it look a lot better.

Fall Steps

I took this photo for a themed project a few months ago. I was just looking for good picture opportunities in a park down in Orting and saw a lot of leaves and just placed three on the steps of a slide. I like the way that they turned out.

Disappearing Wonderland

I took this picture for our winter theme and I think it is the best of the bunch. I didn’t edit this photo. I like the subject placement and depth of field, as well as how I caught the water droplet.

Meet Franco Sarto!

I took this picture for my shoes assignment, so I got out a very colorful pair of Franco Sarto heels I have. I was trying to capture different places I could take these pictures at without being too cliché, I tried to stick with ideas from magazines I read and then I had the idea to use a piano we had at my house as a detail to make the heels look classy and sleek.

WOW

I took this picture when my friend and I walked up to Ferrucci Jr. High school. We were goofing around and I set my camera on the top of a post to stable it. I got the idea of her blowing the snow out of her hand so I could capture the snow. The first one I took like this didn’t have her whole face in the picture so I took it again and it turned out great. I really like this picture.

Elk in the Woods

I took this photo in Greenwater, a little skiing town near Crystal Mountain. I saw this elk when I went out to take pictures for the winter theme. I like how photo shows the elk’s surroundings, especially the trees and the snow. The only editing I did was to adjust the levels a bit.

This is one of my pictures that I took for the night project. My shutter speed was slowed way down to about 30 seconds. It captured the light from the snowman light and still had some depth of field to it. I am very pleased with this picture and I like the clarity of it. The plant looks very clear and so does the snowman. This picture really turned out nice and was fun to take because all our Christmas lights were out so I had more of a variety for night photos.

mid-winter swim?

I was at my friend’s house when it snowed and I was stuck there. So we went out side to play with in the snow and he asked if I wanted to take a swim. So thought it would turn out to be a pretty good picture.

When I went to Spooners pumpkin patch farm with my family I decided to put my little brother in a wheel barrow. There was a sign that said no horse playing but I had to do this. It was just too great of an opportunity. So I buried my brother in it with pumpkins. All he was doing is laughing. I couldn’t get him to stop.
