I was searching my house for anything to use for my “Close ups” assignment when I came across a small container of sprinkles. I put some in a little metal cup and placed the cup on its side on a white sheet of paper. The lights in my kitchen were really yellow so instead I used my table lamp, which made a whiter light. I also made sure I adjust the white balance and set my camera to macro. I focused more in the middle so that some of the foreground as well as the background were a little more out of focus.

This picture has so many colors and I love it, I really like how the sprinkles in the very front and the back look blurred out.

I love this picture because of how simple it is, yet it is colorful and fun. I like how the lighting is perfect and makes all of the colors pop. Also what makes this photo so fun to look at is the fact that you see how the sprinkles continue to go back into the background.
The lighting in this photo is great. I love all the colors. How it’s in focus in the middle then fades out. Such a fun photo.

I love how vivid all of the colors are and how there is a small depth of field. I also like that the candy, or whatever the picture is of is spilling out of its container instead of just the candy on a flat surface. This photo is at a unique angle which makes it look great. This is creative and different than most pictures!
I like this photo a lot! The colors are so pretty, and put me in a good mood! This was a very creative idea. You did a really good job on focusing in on the center and the background blurry. Great still life photo as well.

I like this photo because of the depth of field. A lot of the candies are not in focus but the middle of the photo is in very sharp focus. I also like the wide range of colors in the shot.

This photo's colors are definitely my favorite part. I also like how the focus is not not directly in the center of the photo, using the rule of thirds. I think the metal can adds something subtle to the background. Great job!!
