For this photo, I found a bunch of gravel, but in one spot a tiny leaf was in the middle adding color to the picture. I got on the ground, as close as I could and took a few different pictures till I got the one I liked. I like how some gravel and the leaf is in focus, but not all of it.

This photo is really neat. I'm assuming that you didn't do much or any editing? Even though the leaf stands out enough on its own, it would have looked even more interesting if you had upped the contrast just a little. But good job anyway!
