I took this picture for our ‘Close-Ups’ assignment. It stood out to me because the colors are so bright and vibrant around a dark circle. It caught my eye more than the others did. It took a few shots because it was hard to get up close but it finally focused.

I really like how in this photo the color of the flower is so bight. I like how everything behind the flower is blury but the flower is in focus. I think this picture reflects a mood of summer and warm weather.
I think this photo turned out really good! I love the different colors in the flower as well as the background. Also this photo is a nice example of rules of third. Although the center of the flower seems a little out of focus. Other then that great job!
I like that this photo is very close up, and the background is faded using good depth of field. I like that The background colors bring out the orange color of the flower, and that you can see the texture through the picture.
The lighting is great, as the color of the flower is emphasized through the lighting.
It reflects a mood of brightness and happiness! I really like this picture!

The lighting is awesome too, I really love the yellow in the background and how it matches the yellow on the flower as well. One thing that stood out in a sort of negative way to me was that the bottom half of the flower seems a little out of focus. It didn’t bug me until I really looked at the photo for a few minutes and I noticed that. Other than that I adore this picture! The mood seems to reflect a sort of happiness. Great work!
