This photo was taken in the convenience of my own back yard. It was originally for a close-up assignment, but it turned out well enough to use for the blog posting. I shifted the lens to the macro setting and enjoy the results. It was a cloudy afternoon when I went to shoot, and with the cloudy white balance very little adjustments were needed. I am happy with the big contrast between the pink foreground and darker gray and green background.

- The photo looks really good. The image has good adjustments since its focused mainly on the flower. The flower being down really sets the mood of how its dying slowly but the colors make it seem as it still going.
