Ribbit!

I took this picture in my front yard while I was playing with this tree frog. I like this photo and how it is different and not cliché. I think I did a great job and I love the lighting and the colors standing out.

I love the simplicity of this picture. I think that it is very interesting that the frog looks like it is safe and comfortable. I also love the contrast; the bright green frog with dark brown spots, the dark shadow that is cast on the inner part of your hand, and then the color of your skin to the green background. I, too love the lighting in your picture (and no, the picture is not cliche which is nice). I like how the frog looks so bright, he was perfect for this picture! Good job and good luck with future photos and frogs!!! :)

I really like the size comparison between the frog and the hand. The frog is really well brought out and I love the detail of the hand. I like the focus of this picture and the mood seems very peaceful. Very well done.

I really enjoy the subject matter, because it isn’t often that you see pictures of frogs compared to, say, sunsets. So this is a breath of fresh air. I also enjoy the use of thirds here, with the frog in the upper left section of the photo. The colors are also very nice, with a range of soft green colors and then more warm colors—with the frog’s eyes and the hand. I’m also impressed with the great focus on the frog. It’s very much in focus, while everything else very smoothly fades out of focus in a way that definitely draws your eyes to the little fellow.

This petite frog shows its size in comparison to the human hand. I like the details and how close up it is. It uses direct lighting. The mood is simple and quaint, not much going on in the photo yet it’s enough to get the point across.

This photo is wonderful. I love how focused it is, and how much detail is in it. I also like how the background is out of focus, and how it’s green along with the frog.

I love the framing of the frog with the hand. The textured border brings more focus to the darker colors in the middle. This picture makes me want to go in the forest and catch one.
