This picture was for the grab bag assignment. When I was taking pictures I was focusing more on shadows. In Photoshop, I enhanced the contrast and changed this to black and white. All I really wanted to portray in this picture was different lighting and textures. I really like the abstract look.

Even though this was the first post that I saw, it genuinely liked it. Cards just naturally grab my attention, but what I liked about this picture was the focus point and the shadows. I think it's a little too out of focus in some parts, like it's a little too strong, but other than that I really love it. Nice job~
I love that the center of this image where they connect is really the only part in focus. Houses of cards are so intriguing and interesting to look at and this picture seems to highlight the delicacy of it. -- AB SPHS
Being a huge card fan, I really like this picture. I like the detail of the back of the cards and the shadow really grabbed my attention. The top left is just a little to out of focus but this is still one of the best photo's I've seen.

I like that this photo, first off, is in black and white. If the cards had been in color then the shadows wouldn’t be as dramatic.
The center of focus is interesting, providing the cards are part of a larger whole, yet you made the asterisk the center.
Personally, this makes me feel supportive. These cards appear to be the base of a card pyramid, making them the support, so the picture gives off that feeling.
I like the angle of the picture, and how it shows the shadows behind the cards.
I like the lighting and how it is black and white, and how only the center of the picture is in focus. This photo reflects the mood of fun and games, because of the cards it reminds me of card games.
I like the shapes in the cards. I also like how the photo is in black & white.
The photographer used triangle lines.
The lighting is fine. Should use more focus to what you take a picture of.
This photo reflects a not so happy mood. Maybe someone was bored & did this for entertainment.
I like this photo because of how the shadows are shown behind the tower of cards. Also I like the angle of the picture.
My favorite part of this photo is the black and white pattern bordered by a white trim. This picture is a good example of the depth of field element. If it were in color, I feel that it would take away from the angles and lines of the picture. I also really like this picture because it makes me want to go build a card pyramid.
I really like this photograph because I really like all the different angles that are in the picture. For example, my eyes are drawn to the angles of the lines of all the cards that are in the stack as well as the angle that the camera comes in at on the cards. Along with that, I really like this photograph because it has a small depth of field which makes me focus on where all the cards come together. To add on, I like the fact that where all the cards come together also acts as center of interest that my eye is drawn to.
