Back When Evil Was

I took this picture back in October when I was doing my autumn assignment. I had originally thought it was a boring picture so I hadn’t edited it or used it as a print. Come time to do our final portfolio I wanted to find some images from the year I hadn’t matted on the wall and use them for the portfolio. I found this picture again and edited it, first leveling it then I decided I wanted to make it really dark and mysterious. So I added fog into the bottom of it and then put the picture in black and white. I adjusted the colors manually to give it the dark tone I wanted. That is the result.

I like this photo a lot. You did the right choose by giving the photo a dark tone. Adding the mist just sets it apart that's what gets me it sets the perfect tone for the picture to be scary and mysterious photo. Very nice work would like to see more.

I like how scary this photo is! It’s really sinister and the fog looks really cool.
The black and white is perfect, it makes the picture creepier. The lighting is somewhat dark but the clouds make it contrast lighter.
The mood is definitely spooky!

I love the setting and contrast of this photo. It is cropped really well. The fog looks great and the black and white compliments the dark shack. Very eerie mood.
