Description: We had a night theme photography assignment, which was really challenging. Especially since I was on vacation when it was due, so I just took all my photos down there. I didn’t have a tripod, regrettably, which made night photography more difficult than it needed to be. However, I took this shot looking off our balcony towards the marina and was able to use the ledge to balance the camera. This is one of the better shots that actually turned out. I used a thirty second shutter speed and had the white balance set to incandescent.

This picture did turn out really good considering you didn't have a tripod.
The lighting on the water is especially cool and the small details in the scenery.
