Unwind

My friend and I drove to Wildwood Park by our house to take pictures for our 2 second exposure assignment. I really liked the way some of the pictures turned out. This being one of them. It was a little dark out when I took them so I tried to lighten it up. I like the angle on it. I think the pictures would have been better if it was brighter outside.

nice photo. The water really add motion to the image. Is a little darks and underexposed. I also like the angle of the waterfall. I think if the trees were lighter and bright it add more contrast. The moss and rocks add a rustic feel. Good job.

Ok I love this picture. I have to agree with you that the angle of the shot is fantastic. The motion of the water gives this picture a nice mood. A couple things I think you could do to improve this shot....First, its blurry. If you used a tripod or set your camera on a rock nearby it would have fixed that problem. It is a lil bit dark, but I don't think its a big deal. If it was brighter outside it would have been better. Thats the only things that I see wrong with this shot, but overall I think you did a wonderful job.

I like this photo. I really like how the water appears to be a soft flow and how the mossy rocks look behind it. Just like you said, the angle of the shot is fantastic and it is a little too dark. I also think the out of focus trees in the background take away from the image. I think it could have been an amazing photo if you some how could have only gotten the flowing water and mossy rocks into the shot. However, it is still an overall great photo. Good job. -BS SPHS

This picture really caught my attention because we have been talking about taking pictures of subjects in action. You did a great job of capturing the movement in this photograph! The way the waterfall is blurred a little, starting at the top and growing sharper at the bottom, one can tell the waterfall was flowing quickly. Also, the sharpness of the background of this picture helps the waterfall look like it's moving. I do agree with you that it could have been better if the lighting was brighter outside. But overall great job!

This photo is awesome!
i love the angle especially, it gives the photo a little something more. The water flowing is great to, I myself have attempted to create the same type of photo but have not suceeded.I would suggest though slightly lightning up the photo a little bit. Other than that great job:)

I think this is a pretty good photo. Nice job with the exposure. I don't mind the lighting at all. It reminds me of colors in movies like Pirates of the Caribbean and Twilight. The rocks/moss in the foreground have a very similar texture as the evergreens in the background - which makes the picture a little flat. I think a good ol' levels adjustment would do wonders for this photo.

I really, really like the composition of this photo. The perspective and use of space in the photo is top-notch. I do, however, have two tiny problems with it. The picture is blurry. I realize a slow shutter speed was being used, but the photo would be so, SO much better if it weren't blurry. You're on the right track; get out there with a tripod and try again! I'm sure you'd be able to get this right the next time.

This looks like it could be in a magazine. I think a few more enhancing techniques could have been done to the rocks and trees to make it a bit more vibrant. However, it’s a beautiful photograph and I love the slow shutter speed with used for the water.

This picture is very interesting. It seems like a picture on the cover of a magazine. It shows motion really well.
Good Job!

I really like the water in this picture and the angle it is running at.

I like how the water looks like it is moving real fast and doesn’t look real. They are using the element of shutter speed. I like the lighting and the focus is perfect. The mood of this picture reflects the relaxation.
