Noodles

I took this picture of spaghetti noodles for the ‘close ups’ assignment. It is kind of dark but I think it gives it a nice effect.

This is a really good shot. Taking a picture of noodles up close is an interesting idea and I think it worked really well. The only suggestion I have is that maybe you could have used a different color bowl to create more contrast. And like you said, parts of the shot are a little dark, but I think it's working well for the shot overall.

I really like this picture. the composition is great. However i think it needs to be a little sharper. The noodles get a little blurry. I also think it is a little over exposed in some areas, but overall it is a good picture.

I would have never thought to take a picture of spaghetti noodles but you did a really nice job. And you said that it looks a little bit dark. It does, but it looks good.

This is good. It was a really good idea and the composition is great. But i do agree that the picture needed to be a little sharper, the noodles get a little blurry on the sides of the picture. But other that that its great, nice idea!

This is an interesting shot. I like the big aperture that blurs out the background and focuses in on the noodles. The streak of light coming through also adds a dynamic effect to the piece. I also like that the noodles are not centered and are oriented in different ways. The darkness in the picture also helps the piece. Like Jamie said above, I would only recommend adding some contrasting colors around the noodles. The similar color of the bowl and the white background keeps everything the same color range. However, this is a good shot and is very interesting.

I think this is a very interesting shot. However the noodles are out of focus toward the right of the photo. The photo is a little underexposed, but i love the idea! SPHS

I think that this is very eye catching with the angle you at your camera at. The only thing I think you should’ve have done more is maybe change your IOS setting or adjust your subjects lighting. Other than that this is a very creative and fresh photograph.

This is a very interesting idea for a shot. However, there are a couple of problems with lighting. In the bottom left, it's a bit too dark, and up towards the top right, it's slightly too bright. Also, I think the shot would have worked better if it had more contrast in color. A bowl of another color would have added that to the picture. Overall, I love the idea behind the shot.

This is a great shot. I wish the focus were a little sharper, but other than that I really love this shot. I specifically like the light contrast from the top and bottom of the photo. Great Job.
