Epic Leah

Photo by Brad Bardsley, 5th Period
This portrait makes the subject look powerful but not so intimidating. The perspective of the fence draws the eye to the subject and the trees add a non-distracting yet vivid background.

wow brad this is an epic picture of your lady. your description is exactly what i would say for this picture. the fence leading to subject, good lighting and backgrounds. i also like the brightness of her sweater against the calm but vivid background. good job doo!

I think the lighting on this could have been a bit better. Her jacket blends with the background since they have the same coloration. It would have had a better effect if you had a darker background. Nice shot though!

Nice shot! You have a good lighting and focus. I like how you set her up in the picture to make her look powerful and epic. Cool!

Nice picture. Your ISO is a little too high, and it makes it a little grainy. But good way to get angles and be original.

I really like how the color of her shirt and the trees and grass contrast together. The picture is blurry up close, but from far away it’s real good. The like lighting and everything really makes the colors stand out as well. Nice job.

You made very good use of the fence. It would be nice to retake this one with some lights combined with a lower iso, that way you can get rid of some of that sensor noise.

Good job on her facial expression / poise, but just like others said the iso is kind of high making it grainy. Other than that its great.

Hey Mr. Brad

Your description of this picture is quite well done. After reading it i was really able to understand the true meaning of the picture it is GREAT. Though, I'm not sure if the lightening was A+ maybe A but that's cool. Doin it BIG!

I like this picture. The fact that she is wearing blue really helps too. The colors are amazing and vibrant. The focus could have been a little more on her though, but I still really like it

I like the concept of this picture. The main focus is on her coat. I like it. I like the colors they compliment well. Her facial expression is also good for this picture. NICE CURVES LEAH.

I really like this picture, though as the fence leads back I think you should have made it less focused to make a leading away sort of theme on it. The way you added the girl into the picture draws attention to her with the blue sweatshirt on. This is a great photo and the lighting is perfect.
