Who likes rural?

Photo by: Jed Sarmiento, 5th period

I took this picture on my spring break to Amsterdam. I was walking in some town that I have forgotten the name of and took a few pictures of the area. I liked this one because of how it leads you with the sign, which I have no clue what it means. It just looked nice and vintage. Enjoy

I can't believe you went to Amsterdam without me, let alone not tell me anything about it in first period... upsetting.

This is a tight photo. The yellow sign make it look balanced. Good job!

I like this picture it has a lot of potential. I like it over all but it would have been fantastic if it had been bright blue skies to help make the ally pop, though I know its hard to get Washington to have blue skies

Cool Jed! I’m digging the vintage look of the photo; it would be hard to tell if this photo was taken last week or in 1954 if it was in black and white…. The foreign language on the sign and tight alley also give it “that” look. I guess it could be a little brighter, but that’d just be nitpicking. Good job!

i really like this picture, the narrow alleyway makes for very limited eye movement and great depth of field. i like the sign which is a nice focal point and the whole picture is in really good focus. good pic

This is a really neat picture, it reminds me of a minor white picture. It looks like you really took some time to find an interesting subject.
