I spontaneously took my sister to Bradley Lake Park one day after school to take portraits. The best camera placements couldn’t be used to take photos there because the sun was setting at the most inconvenient angle. It was also difficult to take pictures at the playground because other children and parents were in the background.

I like this photo, it has good coloring, I like how you placed her arm under her chin. But her other hand is cut off it would make the picture more complete if her whole hand was in the photo. The lighting is good. It adds some nice texture to the backrest on the bench. Overall this is a nice photo.
Personally I don't see whats so special about this photo. I mean there is no expression on her face and the hand is cut off. sub par.

this photo is a really bad portrait. i mean come on the portraits that i took of ben are alot better and those suck. im sorry there is just no expressions and there is just parts that are cut off like the hands, dont include any part of the hands in the photo if they are going to be cut off. this photo should not be on here.
Good colors but I think that you could have left her hand in the photo. I dont like how it is cut off. Good picture overall though
Brandon and Ben are showing their true maturity in their posts. They can't handle it when Ms. Kim honestly critiques their photos, so they feel that they have to try and slam her on this photo. That's sad, as they had a chance to write some honest critiques - yet they chose to take the lower road. I left the comment as an example of how students should not use this forum for personal issues.
Aww this is too cute! This is great! I wouldn’t change anything about it! The lighting is great, her posture, the angle, its all amazing!
Heller,
I really do enjoy this picture. It is very calming and i like how majority of her body is in focus aswell as the bench she is on and the grass is blured so it looks like a real good background. This is a great portrait maim.
Keep up the good work -Kia
This photo is so cute. Great Job on the Lighting. It looks like a professional photo. Great Job.
Great portrait! Good pose, sharp focus, plain but perfect setting and background. The red sweater really sets off the picture and focuses your eyes towards the subject. The mesh of the park bench also adds a nice visual contrast. Nice!

This is a great picture; I like how you took the time to plan out to go to the park. This is a well put together picture, and you should be proud.
cute kid, i wont mention the hand thing since everyone already did. Really good picture overall. maybe try for a more creative angle next time.

nice portraits. you captured her in a good pose for her age. it makes her look playful and has a young look. the focus on her face is great along with the bench and green background. if you got her hand in the pic it would look good too. awsome
Even though it can be difficult to prevent glare on things like the bench when the sun is doing that, this photo turned out very well. The composition and pose are very good; the subject looks very thoughtful. ...But what is everyone's deal with the hand??
This is a great photo! The contrast of color and crispness of it makes it very appealing. You should sell this to this kids mom! lol

This turned out well. The colors are easy on the eyes. I like that her face and hands are in focus but nothing else is.
nice lighting i like the red shirt. he he it looks like mini Morgan Kim
This is such a cute picture. The bench makes me think of a park or something. Her feet are sort of out of focus but that’s okay. Nice job.
