Photo by Megan Mairs, 5th Period
I took this picture during spring break while I was in Las Vegas. I was riding the tram and saw the sun coming by this statue and thought it would be a cool image to capture. I really like the way that this picture turned out.

Nice photo. That light makes this picture feel bright. And I like how the light is at the top of the pointy thingy.
That is one bright obelisk Marcus! I also like the light burst at the top of the photo. Looking closely, I see the Egyptian symbols, which, combined with the bright sun, makes me feel like I’m in the hot desert, standing in the sand among the pyramids. Cool!
This picture caught my eye because it is bright. I like how the sun rays go everywhere. This is a cool picture, good job getting a different angle.
This is a good photo with a great point of view but i think its kinda boring..Good job though.
Isn’t it cool how the sun can do different things and how you can capture it. I really like how this picture is done, I don’t really have any suggestions about it.
This is a really cool thing to do with a subject like this obelisk. Though I think if you tried to like up the shot so that the sun is shineing from behind the subject, the front of the obelisk migh be a little brighter.
I think this is a good shot. I like the effect of light with the rays and color coming from them. And the way it contrasts, making the subject darker, adds to the effect of the photo. The only criticism I have is the sun is really harsh, so having it behind could soften the shot.

This is a pretty good picture but the sun is too bright and it kinda takes away the tower. Its kinda just like a big glare or some sort. Maybe if the sun was more in the corner of the picture it wouldn’t be so over powering.
