Desolation

Photo by: Julia Valdes, 5th Period
This summer I went to Australia. One of the cities I went to was Melbourne, which was the perfect place to take pictures because of all of its beautiful old buildings. I liked this picture in color. However, when I turned it to black and white I liked it more because it made the building look flawless and stand out even more. I hope you like it, too.

This is such and amazing photo. OMG. I love it so much. It makes me think of a building made out of dark chocolate. Very nice job and nice color contrast.

Nice photo, I like the angle of the photo. The building looks very symmetrical. You could have taken a shot with the whole building in it but I tend to like perspective shots better. Nice job

Nice perspective, nice contrast. A striking photo -- well done.

Alright Julia, you are basically a pro! This photo reflects everything that makes you an awesome photographer. The perspective is fresh and original and the black and white really adds to the colonial charm. The reflections of the windows also look great. Nothing you can do about the wires, but they definitely don’t hurt anything. Good job!

Your pictures are very pro! This building looks more like a castle than a regular building. Good job on your composition as well.

Your pictures always are great. I really like the angle and how it’s black and white. There isn’t really anything I would say to do different.

great perspective and choice of black and white. the building in itself is very omnipotent especially because your angle but the white and black sends this picture over the top!
way to go lol
oh yeah and you hate me...
sad day lol

This building is cool looking especially since you put it in black and white. The angle you took it at it god too because it makes the building look extra tall, even if it isn’t a tall building to begin with. Nice.
