Untitled

Photo by Denise Michael, 6th period
When I first saw this sight I thought this would make a really nice mood photo. So what I did was I got one of my candles and placed it in front of the plants. I really liked the way it looked altogether so I started taking different views of the pictures. The lighting was good so it made it even better. I really like this photo because it has a romantic mood. Its great mixing and outdoor seen with an indoor object. I thought they went well together. I was trying to accomplish a evening kind of look with limited objects.

Nice photo. It's really out of focus though, but good depth of field. Nice dark colors to contrast with the candle.

this photo just has a good "feeling." i like the mood that it has, just laid back and relaxed. i like pictures of flames because they are peacefull. it is a little blurry though. i like the color of the candle on the green leaves. good job establishing a foreground, middle, and background. all in all i think this is a really good photo.

i like the mood you set. it's relaxed, laid back, and somewhat romantic. although it's slightly out of focus (not completely). you used great contrast and depth of field. and it's obvious what the subject is.

The brightness of the flame against the dark backdrop of the plants makes me think of fireflys at dusk in the summer. It is neat how the light shows through the top of the candle, and how you can see the outline of the flame materializing. As everyone else said, could use a bit of focus, but works fine for me.

You took a chance mixin something that should be inside a house with the outdoors but it isent to bad of a picture not to big a candle good color and the darker setting is great for the mood you were setting.
