Untitled

Photo by Brennan Helmers, 6th Period
I was taking this photo for a close up assignment. The picture was taken at a near by wetland. I thought it was cool because the background turned out grey and blurred out, and the green moss was bright and crisp.

It is indeed extremely crisp. I can't tell if this is a twig or a large branch because it's a close-up, but if it was a large branch I would angle the camera and take a picture of the texture instead of the branch itself. I would also up the contrast to have the bright colors stand out a little more. Honestly, I find this photo a bit boring.

althuogh, i think that the whole branch should be in focus, i think you did very well with the green/gray contrasting.

The neon-green moss combined with the dreary grey of the background is a great example of light/dark contrast. I'd like to see the branch and moss in the lower part of the photo in focus, but otherwise, good depth of field and good close-up.

the whole branch in focus woulda been a luil nicer and maybe even a different angle like resting the camrea on the branch looking up it or down while fading outta focus besides that kinda a plain pic. FORTE
