Just Believe

Photo by: Jessica Miller, 5th Period

I took this picture for the winter theme assignment of my friends little cousin. It was on a snowy day and she just got done playing in the snow and we made hot chocolate afterwards. The cup was perfect because it says “just believe in Santa” and it was around Christmas time. I like this picture because it reminds me of little kids having fun.

Handstand

Photo by: Landon Cross, 6th Period

I took this picture at one of our pep assemblies. This is our break dancing team. I thought is was a good picture because it focuses on the guy who is doing the handstand.

Leading Lines and Curves with Keys

Photo By Jared Omoto, 6th Period
I thought this photo would be interesting beacause of the curve that the typwriter keys made. Looking at this photo now, I am displeased with the technicals. The light is too harsh, and the focus is not great. Aperture is f/14 at 55mm.

For the glass or machines assignment, I took the points (ignition) cover off of my motorcycle and started it up while tried to capture a photo of all of the parts in motion. The nut in the middle is blurry because it is turning about 1000 rpms. I really like this photo because it shows “machines” in motion and also all of the different colors of the wires and metals really pop.

Glass on Fire!

Photo by: Charlie Chawancharoenchai, 5th Period
I took this picture for the glass assignment, I take the glass bottle that is in my kitchen and set it on top of a flashlight with the colored CD case to make the bottle turn red like you see it in the picture.

tubes and wires

Photo by Justin Frisk, 5th Period

A bit late - due February 23

I was taking pictures of a car for my glass and motors. I took quite a few of the engine. And I liked this one the best.

“Excuse The Mess, Didn’t See You From Behind.”

Photo by Chelsea Heinzman, 6th Period

I set up this mess for my colorizing assignment. I really liked how the reds and the blue showed up so vibrantly, though I would have liked the blue to be a little bit more vibrant. I did have to mess around with the levels of the picture to get it to stand out more; it still turned out good I believe. I probably should have used some other different colors and textures, but oh well, I still liked how it turned out.

The chill

Photo by Jed Sarmiento, 5th Period
I took this picture while walking outside after watching good ol’ Saturday morning cartoons. I saw the contrast of the red bench and the relaxing background so I snapped it. I also wanted to show the sun and the light frost. Whooo!

Snow Angel

Photo by Denise Michael, 6th Period

I was taking photos for the winter assignment and I was messing around taking photos and I thought this one came out really nice. It looks like a portrait for winter. So I kept it and that’s why I am using it.

SaW

Photo by Brandon Lanier, 5th Period

I took this picture for my glass and machines assignment. I was just in my dads shed snapping photos left and right of this saw, I decided I liked this one the best.
