I thought this photo would be interesting beacause of the curve that the typwriter keys made. Looking at this photo now, I am displeased with the technicals. The light is too harsh, and the focus is not great. Aperture is f/14 at 55mm.

I like the use of DOF, with the thing closer blurry and the subject very clear. Good job
This picture made me stop and look, I dig that. Personally, I think that you should have focused more on the middle part of the type writer.. or taken the picture at a different angle. Get my drift? Good job!
Don't be so hard on yourself. This is a good picture. I like the depth of field and I like the lighting.

Great photo Jared! I really like the strong mechanical feeling the photo provides, like looking at an old airplane engine or motorcycle, everything is exposed to see. The lighting, to me, is great in the foreground and the background also has an interesting shade. Imagine taking a photo of this typewriter in the dim light of a 1920’s newsroom…
this is an interesting photo, it took me awhile to figure out what it was. the lighting is good but the focus on the keys looks a bit off. great photo
