9:16PM

Sierra A.
I took this photo on Alki beach in Seattle. It was 9:16pm and very, very, VERY cold outside. I was messing with the different exposures to try to get a good photo of not only the city but the lights reflecting off the water and the stars in the sky. I really liked the picture and how the colors turned out and how the sky was light up with stars.

I like this picture alot! I think the way you captured the exposure with the lights reflecting off the water is really cool. I also really like the depth of field and how the city is a little more out of focus than the rocks and the water. In addition, I like how the skyline of the city is fairly centered and takes up the entire background balancing the photo. I think this photo is definitely a keep because it captures city life from a distance.

I really like how the city is lit up in the background and you can see the lights reflecting off the water. I think the lighting to the left of the picture is soft and to the right is harsh. The lighting to me could of been dimmed down a little bit. The city line is the main subject in the focus. It is a soft focus. i think the focus could of been a little more sharper. But I really do like this picture and how you have it set up and the lights reflecting off the water.

This picture is beautiful! I feel like nothing was overexposed or underexposed because even though the ocean takes up much of the picture, it allows a person to see its depth and vastness. I like how the city is in soft focus, yet you can tell what it is because it allows people to see how far away it is, when you contrast it with the sharp focus of the rocks. This picture includes a fore (rocks), middle (ocean),and background (city), which shows that the city is much farther away. The mood of this picture is calm, yet classic, which was due to the lightning of the photo.

I really like this picture. It is very calming and i like how the lights of the city reflect on the water. I like how you used the rule of thirds to separate the rocks, water, and city skyline. The colors blend together well and the depth of field draws my eyes to the skyline. The lighting is soft and the balance is good. Good job!

I really like how the lights from the city are shining across the ocean. The photographer did a great job of combining the nature of the water and rocks with the man-made city. Also, the contrast between the sky and the water creates a unity within the photograph.

Wow this picture is so beautiful. I absolutely love it. love the water the city line and light and most of all the stars. I think that the angle you set the camera at is great because if it was shone straight then I think the picture would come on to strong. Wonderful job.

The way the city is glowing in the background is really cool, and I love the look of the light on the water. The lighting is really breath taking.
