Sherbet Skies

I took this after school while I was shooting photojournalism pictures of the Debate team. It was right after I finished, about 5 o’clock, when I saw the sunset outside the window of the classroom I was in. I had never seen a sunset so bright and orange in real life, so I took as many pictures as I could. I adjusted the levels and hue so that it wasn’t as dark and I also adjusted the color to make the yellows show a little better.

This picture is amazing. I love the colors in the sky it almost looks fake, like all the colors were changed in Photoshop. The lighting is perfect and I think it is really cool how you can see the where the sun is coming up through the trees. All the oranges and reds of this picture really caught my eye, and it has a feeling of ominousness, like something is coming. Great job!

This photo is really amazing. I love the way the sky looks ..it looks like the world is about to end and comics would fall from the sky.

Wow this is just beautiful, I love where you placed the camera! It’s perfect with the trees.
The lighting is amazing… it seems perfect! I have a hard time believing this is a real sunset, but it’s gorgeous!
The mood is really nice, reminding me of spring time!

This is a very cool photo. The sky looks unreal and I like that you left in the trees to give the silhouette look. This would have made a really cool panoramic photo shoot!

I like how the sky is different tones of reds and how the sky is. There’s a light or light color going straight down or up which I think makes the picture unique. This picture looks kind of evil. Good job!
