This is a photo I took for our Pick a Color assignment; I had chosen blue as my color. I had a pretty tough time figuring out what to do for my photos, since I didn’t have many blue items in my house, so I went to Wal-Mart and bought a bunch of blue and gold streamers for the background and some greenish blue balloon shaped confetti and some silver glitter. I used some tape and a shot glass to keep the piece of confetti up and I also used my table lamp for some bright light to help the bokeh effect. The only thing I don’t like much about this is that I focused a little more on the shot glass than the actual confetti; I didn’t even realize it until a couple days after I took this picture. But all in all I’m pretty satisfied with this.

I really like this photo. I love the different colors of blue and gold put together, even though they’re blurry in the background. I like how the lonely balloon is so in focus, good job!(:
The color really stands out in this photo, as it should ;). Very smart intelligent choice on product placement and use of short depth of field. I applaud your efforts.
