Sweet 16

I took this photo for my photography winter assignment. I got this car ordainment for Christmas when I was 16. This is my favorite ordainment so I had to take a picture of it. I really like the lights in the background; it took me awhile to try to make them not look just like round dots. IT didn’t take me that many tries to get a good shot because of all the light coming from the Christmas tree. I really like the depth of field used and I think I did a good job.

I love this picture! The whole story behind the ornament is cool. I like the lighting on the Christmas tree and the car. Good Job!

The picture looks really nice. I love the color of the ornament car and i like how you focused everything just on that while blurring out the background. I can see the whole focus is on the car but then the christmas lights in the back also grab attention.

I love the lighting in this photo. It’s soft, but strong enough to make all the colors pop. Your depth of field is interesting; it makes the car seem larger than life for the tree. Also, though the car isn’t centered or using the exact rule of thirds, its still an interesting center of interest without competition.
Good Job :)
