Fuzzy Lights

I took this photo because I loved the bright colors of the paper lanterns. I had to keep adjusting the White Balance so that the colors of the lanterns would really pop. Having everything out of focus gives it more of a festive feel to it.

This is an interesting picture - I think the paper lantern turned out to be a nice subject. The string of red lanterns in the background really bring out the green lantern in your focus (and the depth of field helps, too). Nice job - Ross SPHS

This photo is really pretty. :] I find this photo intersting because of the colors, and i find taking pictures of paper laterns are a awesome idea! I like to collect all the japanese lanterns, i think it looks beautiful. I also like the focus of the picture. Keep it up!

I love the subject of this photo! :) It’s so happy, with bright colors as well as the dark background so you know it was taken at night. The depth of field is really nice, with the green lantern completely in focus, while the others are soft. This makes me think of a chill summer party, cozy but fun at the same time.

What I really like about this picture is the lantern. I really like the way the depth of field is used. How the front lantern is seen and how the back ones are all blurry. The mood of the picture feels like it is night time.
