I went to the waterfront one day and got a lot of good pictures but I felt that this one was my best. I really like how the sky and clouds look like a painting and how you can see the cloud shadows in the water. I think that gives the picture a really cool effect. For this picture, I tried to get the whole scene of what I was looking at which was how nice the water and sky was.

I am surprised that building is still standing above the water. it looks like the support beams are about to break, they are so bent. i love the reflection of the blue sky in the water. it almost makes it hard to tell which end of the photo is up. the contrast of the blue sky and the fluffy clouds is great. it makes it look like such a happy picture. i like the contour of the pier, and that you can see the water through the pier beams.
