I was driving around hood canal taking pictures and looking at different landscapes. I chose to take a picture of this lonesome dead tree because I thought that it would give off a really interesting mood. This picture was taken in RAW and was manipulated in photoshop. I thought that in order to make the picture more interesting, converting it to black and white would be cool. I made it so the background was darker and the shadows on the branches were lighter.

The natural lighting in this photo is great. Everything is simplistic but it's a pretty setting. i love the organic shapes the tree makes, it makes this photo interesting to look at.
