Description: This was my favorite picture from our fast shutter speed assignment, where our focus was to be splashes. I’m not so great, normally, but for this assignment I finally took some decent fast pictures. It was difficult due to lighting, and it took a lot of practice shots to get a decent shot, but after I brought out a couple of halogen shop lights and stopped worrying about the mess that was being made, then things got good. After taking the picture, I went into Photoshop and played with the levels, colors, exposure, saturation, and curves to get it to just where I liked it.

Did you focus on the back of the glass ? I guess you didn't have time to adjust focus since it was an action shot, but it turned out really well ! I love that it's focused on the water in the background and the water in the front is somewhat blurred. I found it interesting since it's usually the opposite. It added something unique to the photo. :)

this picture is really cool. The only thing is, that the lemon looks a little to dark or the shadowing on it is to much. You may have mad it that way but its a little hard to see what is it if it wasnt for the title. But good job this picture is awesome.

The picture is very busy. The fast shutter speed was used well, however I think you should have controlled the water more so that the shot wouldn’t have been so distracting. Perhaps if you shot the picture right as it hit the water rather than where it is at, the splash wouldn’t have been so cluttering.
