Baseball

I took this picture for the “Make a Splash” assignment. I like how big of a splash the baseball made, but you can still see the top of the baseball. The only thing I did to the picture was adjust the levels to highlight the splash a little more. The only thing I don’t like about the picture is that I used a white background, so it looks a little plain. Overall I think the picture turned out well.

What I really love and appreciate about this photo is how crisp the shot is. You can still see the texture of the baseball through the splashing of the water. I do agree that a different color back ground would give the photo a little more, but the water kind of looks like ice, which is really cool. Good job.

I really like the idea of the baseball making the splash that is very unique. It is an interesting shot because some of the baseball is completely submerged and some is not wet at all, it adds more interest to the shot. Super cool shot :)

I like how the water is clear so that when the ball makes the splash you can still see the baseball. The element of composition used is single center of interest. The lighting is perfect and the focus is great. The mood the photo reflects is spring time because the baseball reminds me of baseball season.
