Mess of Lights

I took this photo during one of the snow days this year on my front porch. I was trying to get different perspectives of these Christmas lights and was happy with how this one came out. I like the angle and depth of field of this photo.

I really like this photo. I agree that the depth of field worked out well; the lights in the foreground are in focus, and the background is out of focus. I also like the way that the lights lead the eye from the foreground to the background of the photo. One negative thing I have to say is that the photo is kind of dull. I would like it better if it had more color- don't know if you have much of a choice on that. Also, the cord in the bottom left corner is really distracting; maybe it should be cloned out. otherwise, great photo.

I like the abstraction and the fact that the photo is messy and unorganized, but still looks good.

Depth of field

The shadows provide depth in the photo. Also, the lights all seem to be pointing one direction, giving a leading aspect. However, the out of focus cord in the front of the shot is large and distracting.

I feel as though the photo reflects a warm mood, considering the bright lights against the cold background.
